What Is Anger?

Anger is a  human emotion response to threat in order to prepare us to fight and defend ourselves. The experience of anger will increase our oxygen intake, heart beat , blood pressure. muscle tension and hormones changes in response to the event. Situation like being attacked, insulted, cheated, or frustrated usually provoke anger.  Anger is  a natural inborn ability but inappropriate handling will turn it to a problem to us. 
Types Of Anger

Different person express anger in different way,

     Overt Expression - Anger is express outwards in an uncontrolled manner. Usually the individual is aware of their anger and the result of outburst can result in emotionally or physically damaged of parties involve.

    Suppression             - Anger does not express outwards and the individual may or may not realize they are angry. Holding on anger can be very  damaging which cause physiological and psychological problems. Behaviour like unhelpful, sarcastic,  passive aggressive,  refuse to speak and too quick to be angry is a sign of suppressed anger.

    Appropriate Expression - Anger is able to express assertively which let the opponent understand why the individual is angry without causing any damanges 



Effect Of Prolong Anger

Prolong anger could cause the below consequences
   
    Social - limited social circle, unfavourable ambience, less friends

    Physical - hypertension, heart palpitation, hormones imbalance, bruxism, chest tightness, headaches, fatigue and other psychosomatic illness  

   Psychology - depression, self sabotage, anxiety, irritable, rage, eating disorder, compulsive, insomnia, passive aggressive behaviour  and alcohol  addiction

The common causes of anger are

              - Inappropriate coping strategy

Treatment For Anger

We can't take away anger but can learn how to manage it. Various social skill training, psychology treatment and antidepressants could help to manage anger. However, use of medication is with the purpose of treating the symptoms such as control negative emotion, blood pressure rather than to treat the issues that caused the anger.
Treating Anger Disorder With Clinical Hypnotherapy
